Age 71, passed away at Bronson Hospital on March 12, 2020, with family by her side. She was born in Kalamazoo on September 3, 1948. Patricia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and had a creative personality. She also enjoyed spending time in her garden and feeding hummingbirds. When able, she always liked to travel. Pat was a hard worker who was employed for twenty-seven years by Western Michigan University. Above all Pat loved her family and friends and leaves behind wonderful memories to cherish. On January 12,1968, she married the love of her life David Rice who survives. She is also survived by her children, Sue (Bill) Kline, Patty Rice, David (Jen) Rice, Theresa (Chris Palmer) Rice; eleven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; a sister, Pam Kramer, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Pete and Verna Westdorp.
