Obituary
Age 88, passed away on November 30, 2020, with her best and dearest friend Jim at her side. She was born on May 28, 1932, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Jordan) Samson. Pat was kind, loving and gentle. She enjoyed Spending time with her family and friends and leaves behind many wonderful memories to cherish. Pat had a passion for learning and was an accomplished schoolteacher at Indian Lake Elementary School until her retirement in 1992. When not working she enjoyed traveling. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Ronald J. Williams who preceded her in passing on August 23, 2007. Pat and Jim were faithful members of Connections Community Church in Schoolcraft. Pat is survived by her loving sons, David (Janet) Williams and Daniel Williams, a grandson Ryan (Mairead) Williams; two great-grandchildren, Henry and Gwendolyn Williams; other family and friends.
My deepest sympathy to the family. Pat always made me feel welcome and at home at the Will house, and, she made the very best tea! Vicky, my thoughts and heartfelt sympathy to you and the family.
I volunteered with Pat at Ministry with Community back in the 1990s. I remember her big smile and infectious laugh. We were a close knit group of volunteers and Pat was one of the reasons why! She was so much fun to volunteer with and her lively personality was wonderful to be around! My sympathies go out to all her family. May God comfort you all, and what a blessing for all of us who had our lives touched by Pat. Michael Guyton
