Peggy was a lifelong friend and confidante. Her family was my family. The boys were her pride and joy and her grandchildren. May God bless and keep those in her family spiritually blest and may her joys in heaven be great. Her love of horses and our journey together made me appreciate a friendship like hers. Only God knows and understand the blessings she gave.

Our sincere condolences to the Sich family, we have been neighbors for many years, and always waved when Peggy would go on her walks with her dogs. May your memories bring you comfort in the upcoming days.

Some of the fondest memories I have with Peggy was with our horses, whether in a clinic she hosted at her farm or showing horses with FQHR. She at one time owned the brother to my horse Dually – (Draco?)- and Jason you were amazing with that horse. I remember a stray cat that had a peanut butter jar stuck on it’s head for several days that she eventually was able catch and set free. She was one of the most honest and generous people I know. I remember some of her parties and especially the potluck party she hosted many winters and the game involving oven mitts, dice and lots of tape! I know so many will miss her, and I am sorry for those closest to her. Heaven gained another angel.

I was so sad to hear this. Peggy was a kind, caring person. I remember the shelves of books she had. John made the shelves especially for her. I will always have fond memories of John and Peggy. Camille Wade, first cousin of John, daughter of Nora Ross Black Dukie and my mom were very close sisters.
