Obituary
Robert Lyle Willard Age 76 of Scotts passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Bob was born in Kalamazoo on February 9, 1950, the son of Lyle and Janette (Mills) Willard. Bob was an avid outdoorsman throughout most of his life. He also was a great reader, and he especially liked western, science fiction and fantasy books. Most of his career he worked in concrete and construction management, becoming a foreman at a very young age. He worked until his health prevented him from going on. Bob is survived by his children, Charles Willard, David Willard, Christopher Willard, Daniel Willard, Nathaniel (Adrienne) Willard; four grandchildren; siblings, JoAnne (Donald) Crane and Steven (Cheryl) Willard; nieces; and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Nicholas Willard
Bob, was one of the nicest people I knew!!! Rest easy Bob, you will be missed.
I’ll always be grateful for many of the years we spent together, your many talents and the 6 sons we shared. May you rest peacefully and know you were loved.
Dad kept me out of his life and his final days and my other brothers got to be with him. I tried to get back in his life Dan would go in and out of that house everyday to go to work and when I came by when I still had a truck dad said he had immunities and I couldn’t come in to see him and now I’m the only one left out in the dark I guess I really was the black sheep
