Obituary
Roberto Cuevas passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 14, 1961, Roberto was the son of Manuel and Cristina Cuevas, who preceded him in death.
Roberto married his loving wife, Maria, on November 27, 1999. Together, they built a wonderful life, filled with shared memories and laughter. He was a devoted and caring husband and was a proud, loving father to his daughter, Christina.
His family and friends will especially cherish the memories of his generosity and time spent together, sharing stories, laughter, and the meals he lovingly prepared. He was also an avid collector of model and toy cars, sharing his joy with friends and family.
Roberto was preceded in death by his brother, Carlos. He is survived by his siblings: Hector (Lucy) Cuevas, Olga (Angel) Cotto, Elizabeth (Victor) Morales, Esther (Jose) Torres, Annette (Luis) Diaz, and Brothers-In Law Demetri Dussias, and Dino (Edyta) Dussias.
He is also survived by a loving circle of extended family; many cousins, nieces, and nephews, and dear friends who will deeply miss him.
