Obituary
Age 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Roger was born in Three Rivers, on December 13, 1949, the son of Roy and Betty Jean (Baldwin) Brinneman. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a great outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. He loved music and enjoyed listening to the bands that his friends played in. Nothing was more important to him than his family, especially his three daughters who survive him, Jacqueline Armstrong of Kalamazoo, Tina (Sean) Doonan of Kalamazoo, Kari Brinneman of Kalamazoo; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his former wife and friend, Debra Brinneman; brothers, Roy Brinneman, Mike (Dawn) Brinneman, Rick (Tammy) Brinneman, Jack Branning; sister, Carlene Campbell; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He will especially be missed by his little dachshund friend, Tuesday Brinneman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Tom Brinneman and Tom Betke; and sister, Della Jones.

Roger… we love you and miss you very much. You were the band’s biggest fan (besides Remi) and critic. You were at every single practice. You adored Remi and she adored you, she misses her uncle Roger. You will forever be in our hearts. Your wings were ready, our hearts were not. Heaven gained a hero
I’ve known Roger since I was teenager. In the 70’s we were room mates and I remember being so broke we ate pot pies every day. They were 25 cents each and we thought they were too good to be true. I also remember taking a road trip to visit his grandfather and we had a blast…maybe it was in Indiana. I was surprised to learn he only had an outhouse and Roger laughed and just said, “yep welcome to country Deb.” Roger was always such a happy, fun loving guy and I’m glad to have had a few fun nights with him at the club on his return to Michigan. All my love to his family. I know he will be deeply missed. See you again some day Rog. We’ll bake some cookies! Love Deb
I will miss seeing Roger at the club, and playing pool and cribbage. Always enjoyed our conversations, and his live life to the fullest way. Also a big thank you for serving our country . Always remembered, and Never forgotten. Til we meet again.
