A visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, followed by at committal service at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta beginning at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
Obituary
Age 69, passed way on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Rosemary was born in Kalamazoo on June 8, 1950, the daughter of the late Louis and Bernice (Matecki) Korabik. On August 23, 1969, she was united in marriage to Donald K. DeBoer, who preceded her in death on October 3, 2014. Rosemary enjoyed gardening, sewing and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Luanne (Tim) Stevens, Andrew (Ember) DeBoer and Brianne DeBoer; grandchildren, Lucas and Nicholas Stevens, Lucy and Lilly DeBoer and Mikayla, Kiya, Kaitlyn and Zachary Tipken; siblings, Yvonne (Ted) Lean, Barb (Bob) Norr, Tom (Lynn) Korabik, Steve (Pita) Korabik, Diane (Tony) Earles and David Korabik; as well as many nieces and nephews.
I will not forget all the fun times we had together in my ( VW ) . You are now without pain or troubles, Don is waiting for you. Darlene
I\’ve known Rosie since she married my cousin, Don DeBoer in 1969. I\’ve always enjoyed talking to her and getting caught up on family things during family gatherings. I Sat next to Rosemary in 8th Grade and Cheated off from her papers!! She was always smiling and making Jokes!!!
Our childhood memories of playing on the boulevard will be forever remembered by my brother and me. Sending love to all the K’s honoring Rosie and her beautiful family.
So many great memories of sharing Christmas in your family home Rosie. The Korabik family —Aunt Bernice and Uncle Louie- —Aunt Lilly, Aunt Mary—Aunt Angie —Aunt Josie and my mom—Aunt Anne —were the glue that kept us together. And you Rosie …..continued that tradition of unconditional love with Don …for your children and grandchildren. A good life Rosie. May you rest in Don’s warm embrace and watch over us. You are now among our Angels in Heaven.
