Obituary
Age 84 of Galesburg, passed away January 8, 2026. Sandra was born in Benton Harbor, MI on October 10, 1941, the daughter of H. Stuart and Violet Mae (Varner) Mason. Sandra loved the outdoors, watching animals, especially the birds and deer. She also loved to garden. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. Sandra is survived by her children, Christine (David) Dunn of Vicksburg, Bibett Mahieu of Ada, Eric (Donna) Mahieu of Holland; grandchildren, Judson (Amber) Stephens, Chelsea (Scott) Lyerly, Ryan (Andrea) Dunn, Leslieann (Alex) Seekell, Erin (Zach) Payton, Devon (Kyle) Kessler; twelve great-grandchildren; and many friends. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
I’m going to miss you my dear friend. We had so many great phone calls. I have a lot of memories with you and enjoyed our time together. Thank you for being you.
I will miss you my dear friend. As we lived miles apart, I will miss those many long phone conversations. You were a true blue friend. We always cheered each other up in sad times.
