Scott has been a special friend to countless people for the 40+ years that we also have been blessed to experience his exceptional character and generosity. He knew his savior Jesus Christ and treasured the relationship throughout his life. His willingness to help others, especially those with less means than his own, was well known despite his modest nature. If I wanted to run a concept by someone which few might understand or appreciate (especially if it involved anything with rotating or electrical parts) any ‘brainstorming’ required but one text or phone call. When our home ventilation system would not work (period) due to a poor design? Scott redesigned and rebuilt it despite being saddled with a very small/cramped footprint. There are too many out there to name amongst his friends and family living much more comfortably today/tomorrow due to Scott’s skills/smiling willingness to lend a hand. Scott was a special man. There is consolation for me in the fact that I know where he is now and that he is happy to be there. Let’s all hope to join him someday through our faith in God and by what Scott truly believed in down here: A smile, good work(s) and boundless love for our fellow man. John and Carol

Scott, I had thought about you so many times over the years. Way back when we were neighbors, you were one of my very earliest childhood crushes. “Scotty wotty tissue, care if I kiss you?”. Remember the time you climbed the tree, and we took the ladder away so you couldn’t get down? Then we heard your mom calling you to supper and we ran! Lol good times. Last summer we had an informal Parchment High reunion, and your name was one of the very first to come up. We all expressed regret that we hadn’t stayed in touch and nobody knew where you were. I would have given anything to see you one more time! I’m saddened, and I’m shocked, and I really wish I lived closer so that I could attend your farewell. Scott was in my apprenticeship classes, he was bright, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. I always enjoyed our conversations, he was a true friend and will be missed. We will all miss him!

I am so glad I got to know you Scott. You were a brother to my brother Greg, and I came to feel the same. You were taken way too soon. You will be missed big time. Until we meet again my friend.
