Obituary
Shirley passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2021, at her home. She was born July 12, 1939, to Rosco and Dorothy (Nichols) Bixler. Shirley retired from Parker NWL. She enjoyed her monthly lunch dates with her sisters and Sunday breakfasts with her friends. Shirley loved watching Hallmark movies. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Jr. (Jennifer) Knapp of Allegan; her four sisters, Helen (Joe) Roglic, Barb Bixler, Pat Schero, and Nancy (Richard) Waite and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Kenneth Knapp Sr.; second husband, James Sinkler; daughter, Julie Loss and son-in-law, James Loss; a sister, Ruth Holtz and great-grandson, Kashton Knapp.
to the greatest aunt i have ever known here she would always allow me into her home to talk she was very kind to us every time we saw her she is one of my mom’s sister but to me she is the greatest one of them hands down no one on that side of family has ever been any nicer then my aunt Shirley was to my wife and me ever time we talked on the phone in her home R.I.P AUNT SHIRLEY YOU WAS THE GREATEST AUNT LOVE YOU SWEETHEART AUNT NOW YOU ARE WITH UNCLE KENNY AND UNCLE JIM AGAIN ENJOY
To a great neighbor and even better friend . We are sure going to miss you. My dad is going to miss his breakfast buddy. Thanks for being a wonderful grandmother/great grandmother to my kids and grandkids. I sure my mom was waiting for her friend to welcome you home. Rest in peace sweet lady your surely going to be miss.
