Obituary
Age 70, passed away Thursday night, August 8, 2024. Steve was born in Kalamazoo on May 24, 1954, the son of Harold Delmar and Betty Ann (Huyser) Stowell Sr. Steve enjoyed music. He was also an avid fisherman and liked auto and motorcycle racing. He was a free-spirit and lived life on his own terms. Steve is survived by his siblings, Harold (Pamela) Stowell of Kalamazoo, Teri-ann (John) Steward of Locust, NC, Ronald Stowell of Kalamazoo, Tracy Dial of Portage; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents.
My son Jim and I knew Steve for many years, really nice guy and did excellent work. I will miss talking to him.
Loved crazy Steve the” Dry wall Guy ” Spent time with him when did our house and he and I painted our bathroom together !! Loved allis stories !! He will be missed.
Sorry to read of Steve’s passing, we attended PCHS together. We used to talk fishing when we bumped into each other over the years. RIP.
