Obituary

Age 65, passed away early Friday morning, August 5, 2022. Tim was born in Kalamazoo, on June 11, 1957, the son of Walter Ray and Anna Jane (Robyn) Sharp. On August 20, 1988, he married Cindy Doxey, who survives him. He worked at General Motors for 30 years before retiring in 2006. In his retirement he enjoyed working in home improvement and remodeling with his brothers. He also worked at Campbell Auto, delivering car parts. He was an avid outdoorsman. He liked hunting and fishing. His hunting expeditions were more about the fellowship with his friends and family rather than actually getting a deer. He was a great cook and he loved cooking to feed his family. His fish-fries were epic, and when you were invited, you knew you were in for a real treat. He also enjoyed watching the grandchildren’s sporting events. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He was loved by so many and he will be sorely missed. Tim had an unconditional love for his wife. He thought she was the strongest person he had ever met and he shared that with several people shortly before his death. Besides his wife, Tim is survived by his children, Dustin (Lainey) Sharp of Sanford, Dezirae (Jim) Boer of Vicksburg, Tim (Betsy) Geddings of Mattawan; grandchildren, Nolan Fisher and Kehl Geddings; brothers, Steve (Tammy) Sharp, Larry (Beth) Sharp; sisters, Beth (Don) Smeal, Penny Sharp, Lori (Pat) Fredericks; brothers in law, Bob (Gloria) Doxey, Jim (Peggy) Doxey; sister in law, Robyn (Rich) Dinse; uncle, Mike (Louise) Robyn; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

So sorry for the loss. Tim was such a happy and caring person. He did a fabulous job in building a deck in the back attached to the house which came out better then we had visioned. He was a special individual and you could see the love in his marriage to Cindy. We are sending our love and support to get you thru this time, so sorry we will not be able to see you in person.
