Wade Allan Verschoof age 65 of Kalamazoo passed away Thursday morning, October 22, 2026. Wade was born in Wayne County, MI, on June 9, 1961, the son of Duane and Ida (Moerman) Verschoof. Wade lived a simple life. He enjoyed NASCAR and classic rock. He was a fan of University of Michigan football. Wade is survived by his children, Katie Akers and Christopher (Melissa) Verschoof; grandchildren, Noah Akers, Leo Verschoof, Iyzic Verschoof, Emma Verschoof; a niece and a nephew; and many friends including his special four-legged friend, Keebler. Wade was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dian Verschoof.
