Obituary
Age 77 of Kalamazoo passed away Sunday morning, November 2, 2025. Wendy was born in Escanaba, MI, on December 26, 1947, the daughter of Wendell and Marie (Taylor) Erickson. Wendy was an avid reader and worked for many years as a librarian in Minnesota and Georgia, and locally for the Comstock Public Library and Parchment Public Library. It seemed as though she was always reading something. In her spare time, she enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening and the arts. Wendy is survived by her siblings, Mary Jean (Glen) Leisner, Michael Erickson, Jim Erickson, Stephen (Tracy) Erickson, Jeffrey (Carrol) Erickson; sister-in-law, Renee Erickson; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many, many friends. Wendy was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Michael Kelly; sister, Pamela Anderson; brother, Joel Erickson.
I am so sorry to hear of Wendy’s passing. She was an amazing lady. She was my sister-in-law for 16+ years and I always enjoyed being around her. She was such a positive person, very intelligent and loving to her family. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her. My condolences go out to the family. Rest in peace, Wendy. Love you.
