A Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, 917 S. Burdick St., Kalamazoo. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of South Central Michigan, in c/o the funeral home.

William “Bill” Lawrence Price Jr. age 77 of Kalamazoo passed away Monday morning, September 14, 2026. Bill was born in Kalamazoo on July 9, 1949, the son of William Lawrence and Madge Louise (Reinke) Price Sr. On September 4, 1976, he married Laura Ross who survives him. Bill spent over 30 years in the automotive industry, working for General Motors and Checker Motors. He was very mechanical and could build and re-build Indians, Harleys and automobiles. Besides his wife, Bill is survived by his children, William (Katrina) Price III, Josie (Nolan Steinert) Price; granddaughter, Kallesta Brienne Price; brother, Henry (Katherine) Price; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Laura , when you called me about the passing of Bill , it brought tears to my eyes . I met Bill at Kalamazoo Fisher Body , and we became good friends . Bill was not only a co-worker a neighbor , but a good friend , Bill was a champion of motor cycle repairs . His journey through life was marked by his unwavering mechanical skills and his kindness to those around him . Bill was a testament to our country , he loved America ! As Bill left this earth the Lord said “Open Up The Gates , Here Comes Biker Bill “
