A committal service will take place at Roof Cemetery in Climax, Michigan on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM, Pastor Chad Speer officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan.
Obituary
Age 75, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Wilma was born in Lawrence County, Alabama on November 17, 1944, the daughter of the late James S. and Ruby E. (Posey) Fuller. On April 27, 1978, she was united in marriage to George E. Puckett, who survives. Wilma is also survived by her children, Dana and Matthew Ketcham; granddaughter, Melissa (Dalton Davis) Vickery; great-grandchildren, Alivia and Bensen; brother and sisters, James “Dwight” (Doris) Fuller, Willodean Shrout, Shirley (Dale) Sparks and Linda (Roger) Couch; many nieces and nephews and stepson, William (Valerie) Puckett. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brother, Willard Fuller; stepdaughter, Tennie Gentry and step-grandchildren, Joseph and Jolene.
Wilma was a beautiful spirit, she was always smiling and had the cutest little Alabama draw. Wilma made your day feel brighter even when times were hard. She would do anything for her family or friends. There were so many times that she went out of her way to make my life better. I had shattered my leg and was in a wheelchair for six months. She came to my house, loaded me up in her car and took me to Shippshawanna, she pushed me in my wheelchair all over the town. I will miss her dearly, i thank God that He put her in my life and she called me friend. Di
I met Wilma and George at church as a teen and was a friend of Dana as well. Wilma was always good to me, and I joined them camping and always felt included in the family. Great person, always remember her southern accent and charm! Missed by me, a sweet lady.
