Age 56, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 29, 2017, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Alan was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on March 10, 1961, the son of the late Floyd and Eva (Reynolds) Prouse. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Donna Prouse and brother, Daniel Prouse. On January 27, 1990, Alan married Bonnie J. (Williams) Prouse who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Nicole (Michael) Patterson; sons, AJ, Danny and Chris Prouse; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Floyd (Cindy) and Jeff (Rae Lynn) Prouse and sister, Sherri (Mike) Kesterson. Alan was an avid hunter, fisherman and skilled outdoorsman, who enjoyed the thrill of the hunt. He was considered by many to be a master mechanic. His family knew him as a “jack of all trades and master of none.” Alan was a loving husband, a great father and always put his family first. He will be missed in the hearts of many.
