Passed away surrounded by her family to be with her Lord and Savior on January 15, 2022. She was born in Madison, WI, on January 12, 1934, the only child of the late William and Josephine (Rank) Reagan. Bobbie married Bert DeGraaf on August 24, 1953, together they had 6 Children: Shelly, David, Lori, Mary, Bert, and Beth. Bobbie loved her family and friends and leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived! She was an outgoing, enthusiastic, women with wonderful talents and a strong work ethic. In her early married life, she enjoyed, sewing, ceramics, bowling league, 4H & training the family horses for show. Bobbie began her career as a Real Estate Agent in 1969, with in a brief time received her Brokers license and became one of the few women in the field of Commercial Real Estate. Over the next fifty-three years she would win numerous awards, including the status of Emeritus, was a member of the Greater Kalamazoo Board of Realtors where she served as a director and a teacher of Real Estate. She was a Lifetime Member of the FOP where she helped cook countless holiday meals and was voted member of the year. Bobbie was a wonderful cook and loved preparing fabulous meals for family gatherings and Thanksgiving meals on several occasions for the homeless. She also enjoyed traveling, spent countless hours in her yard and took immense pride in her many flower gardens. Above all Bobbie loved being a mother and Grandmother. She was not only present but involved in her children and grandchildren’s activities. She had a strong faith in the Lord and attended Christian Reformed Church. Bobbies’ kind smile, laughter and loving heart will be missed by all that knew her. She leaves to cherish her memory five children: Shelly (Steve) Chu, of Vicksburg, Lori DeGraaf, of Scottsdale, AZ, Mary (Ken) Buck, of Scottsdale, AZ, Bert (Lisa) DeGraaf of Parchment, MI, Beth VandeWeerd, of South Haven, MI; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Eric) Iverson, Sarrah (Brett) Gaboury, Scott (Rachel) Chu, Shaun Chu, Zachery VandeWeerd, Alec VandeWeerd, Lynsey DeGraaf, Morgan (Seth) Dexter; three great- grandchildren; many close friends. She was also preceded in passing by a son David Lloyd DeGraaf. She will be laid to rest in East Cooper Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, c/o the funeral home.
