Allen B. Hackman, Jr., age 91 of Kalamazoo passed away Monday evening, February 16, 2026. Allen was born in Kalamazoo on January 8, 1935, the son of A. Boyd and Ruth (Trim) Hackman Sr. On October 19, 1957, he married Donna M. Endsley who survives him. Allen was the owner of A. B. Hackman Co., a company that erected gymnasium seating. He had installed countless numbers of bleachers across the United States and internationally. In his spare time, he and Donna enjoyed traveling throughout the world. He also liked skiing and golfing. He was also a good poker player. He was a handyman and was adept at remodeling homes. Besides his wife, Allen is survived by his son, Allen Bradley Hackman; nieces and nephews; and many friends.
