Age 69, passed away on Friday evening, March 26, 2021 under the care of Rose Arbor Hospice, with her family at her side. Alysia was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on November 04, 1951, the daughter of Max and Shirley (Ullman) Konigsberg. Alysia was loved by many for her outgoing personality and her love of other people. She loved to talk to anyone and was known to have a fantastic “crazy” sense of humor. Those that knew her best, knew what she was talking about when she called herself a “Jewish, Alien, Vampire Princess”. Alysia also had a dream of being able to drive a pink Cadillac to the lobster house, someday. She was known as the “mom” that everyone loved. Following high school, Alysia attended college and began her career in many fields. She truly enjoyed cooking and became a professional restaurant cook at several area dining establishments but, enjoyed her time as a cook at Zabel Foods at General Motors, back in the day. Alysia was preceded in death by her father and mother. Her mother passed away when Alysia was only three years old. Her father, Max, fell in love again with another lady named Shirley Putnam. So, Alysia had two moms named Shirley. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Eric (Lisa) Konigsberg of Comstock, Michigan, grand-daughters, Kalyn (Anthony Whipple) Konigsberg and Paige (Willie Rolan) Konigsberg, as well as her beloved kitty, Chloe.
