Age 54, passed away at Ascension Borgess Hospital on Friday, February 3, 2023. Bam was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 15, 1968. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Andrew and Gail Lipsey; children, Andrew L. Smith, Andre L. Smith, Aneisha (Evan) Butler and Ceira Smith; 12 grandchildren; siblings, Nyailla “Larenda” Angelou, Lourencie Crenshaw, Bertha Johnson, Prentice (Tequella) Hughes, Antoine Lipsey and Tracy and Tammy Pawlowski; long-time companion, Patty and many nieces and nephews. Cremation will take place and the family will hold a memorial in his honor at a later date.
