Angela M. Sisk passed away on March 18, 2023, three days after her 37th birthday. She was born in Berrien Springs, MI, on March 15, 1986, the daughter of Douglas and Annette (Skaggs) Christy. Angela was a faithful, creative, and loving person with a warm smile and a passionate nature. She graduated from Lakeshore High School in Stevensville, MI, Class of 2004 and went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University. Angela’s foundation and the rock of her life was Jesus. She loved spending time reading and sharing God’s word and was a faithful member of Texas Corners Bible Church where she worked as the Media Coordinator for several years. She was also a professional artist and illustrator, having participated in several comic conventions, collaborated with other creators, and produced her own original comic, art, and illustrations. A voracious reader and lifelong learner, Angela had an array of interests and hobbies too numerous to list, including writing, quilting, miniatures, video and board games, astronomy, and more. She had a great love for animals, especially her cats Radar, Midna, and Romeo. On September 19, 2015, she married the love of her life, Michael Sisk, who survives. She is also survived by her parents, Doug and Annette; siblings, Scott (Margaret) Christy and Daniel (Brittany) Christy; grandmother, Dorothy Skaggs; nephews, Stephen and Julius; niece, Adelaide; and many close friends. Angela’s strong faith, fierce loyalty, and unquenchable passion will be missed by all who loved her.
