Age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek, Michigan. Ann was born Berentje Wielinga on May 20, 1925, in the province of Groningen in the Netherlands. She was the eldest daughter of the late Johannes and Berendina (Buitjes) Wielinga. During the war years, Ann worked as a welder at Ingersoll’s in Kalamazoo. She would later spend 25 years in the Kalamazoo area self-employed as a beautician and also worked in management at Village Mobile Home Park in California. She is survived by her daughter, Diann Fisher; grandchildren, Caleb (Amy), Jennie and Joshua Fisher; great-grandchildren, William and Andrew Fisher; brothers in-law, John Holthouse and Donald Koning; several nieces, one nephew and many great nieces and nephews.
