You always understood the things we would say and do and overlooked our faults and saw the best in each and every one of us. Mothers are the most “forgiving” people. As I grew, I never knew we didn’t have a lot of money; however, through your sacrifices as a mother, you made sure we had everything we needed and made each Birthday and Christmas special. Raising six (6) children was not an easy job. I am so grateful for those sacrifices and your unconditional love. You were our nurse to heal the hurt, our book to share your knowledge, our compass to guide us, and sturdy legs to allow us to stand on our own. Love and miss you everyday.

You often told me that when our dad died, you hurt a lot but when your own mother died, it hurt even more. I now understand. You can’t pick up the phone to ask about a silly recipe or just to talk; when a mother dies, so does a friend. You will be so missed in more ways than you could even imagine but you already know because of your loss when Grandma passed away. You’ll be forever in our hearts and will always thinking of you. You were the most generous person and most loving mother and grandmother. Thank you for all your kindness, strength and encouragement.

I will miss Anna. I worked with her at Joann Fabrics and enjoyed all the time I spent with her. She was really loved by customers and co-workers. She generously gave me an old bike that I have filled with flowers and leaning against a tree in my yard. I will always think of her when I look at my bike.
