Age 73, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Tony was born in Kalamazoo, on February 1, 1947, the son of Arthur and Clara (Woodward) McDonald. On September 6, 1986, he married Sandra “Sandy” Garrison who survives him. Tony enjoyed bowling. He also enjoyed visiting the casinos and playing Bingo. Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Andy (Karen) McDonald of Kalamazoo, Ronald McDonald of Arkansas; daughter, Kathy Dean of Kalamazoo; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, The Rev. Robert (Cindy) Thornton, James Thornton, Ken McDonald, David (Cathy) McDonald; brother-in-law, Tom Wildsmith; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Carol Thornton and Jackie Wildsmith; brother, Bill Thornton.
