October 11, 1926 - December 9, 2018

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018, beginning at 1:00 PM, at First United Methodist Church, 212 S. Park St., Kalamazoo, MI 49007. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 12:00 PM, one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church and to Great Lakes Caring Hospice, c/o the funeral home.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of an old and dear friend and former General Manager, Art Mann. We worked together in the Midland, TX office of New York Life as a team back in the 1960s era. He always had such an infectious laugh and always the gentleman to work and be associated with. I was also saddened to learn of his loss of wife, Helen and son Artie as I knew him. I 'kid sat' with Artie and brother David one time in Midland while their parents were gone to some managers' meeting with New York Life so it is difficult for me to fathom Artie being gone as well. I'm glad Art found love again with his new family and want to offer sincere condolences to them as well as David for their great personal family loss. Art was one fine man in my book and he will always be remembered for the caliber guy he was. May God Bless each of you. I'm sorry I didn't know of his passing sooner.
