Age 86, passed way on Thursday, June 18, 2020. Audrey was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on August 28, 1933, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mildred (Harvey) Peltz. She was a graduate of Kalamazoo Central High School. Audrey worked for Kalamazoo Ophthalmology P.C. for over 30 years and was Personnel Director prior to retirement. She enjoyed Tuesday night dinners with her friends from work and breakfast with her schoolmates. Audrey also enjoyed walking in the park, working out at the gym and especially loved spending time with her family. Audrey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. On August 18, 1963, she was united in marriage to Ralph “Larry” Smith, who survives. Audrey is also survived by her children, Brad (Carolyn) Kennedy, Tom (Amy) Smitchols and Jodi (Kevin Henry) Haugen; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Breanna Price), Jacob, Samantha and Nick Haugen, Anna Smitchols and Blake (Angela) and Mara Bernard; two great-grandchildren, Emerson and Max Bernard; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother.
