Age 83, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018, with family at her side. She was born in Grand Rapids, the daughter of the late Morris and Joanne (Komar) Kosten. She was also preceded in passing by a brother, Philip Kosten and an infant son, Steven Buckingham. Barbara was a kind and loving woman. She had a heart for teaching and dedicated her life to helping children. For over 35 years her smile and wisdom could be found in the classrooms and halls of Paw Paw Elementary School where she touched many lives. She loved to read and enjoyed working in her beautiful flower garden. Above all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren and leaves them with wonderful memories to cherish. Her spunky personality will be missed by all who knew her. On June 12, 1954, Barb married Lyle Buckingham who survives. She is also survived by her loving daughter, Susan Buckingham; two sons, Gregory (Deborah) Buckingham and Mark (Eva) Buckingham; eight grandchildren, Richard and Amy Eastman, Greyson, Julia, Karoline, Katrine, Ester and Stiven Buckingham; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Eastman, Riley Tucker and Brandon Eastman; great-great-granddaughter, Paisley Talbott; a sister, Sandra Reid.
