HART, Benjamin J. “Benny”
Dorr, Michigan
Age 59, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, from a heart attack. Benny was born in Vicksburg, Michigan on June 20, 1963, the son of the late William “Bill” S. and Virginia A. (Mills) Hart. He worked hard at his job with MSC Industrial Supply until his health caused him to retire early. Some of Benny’s many hobbies included refinishing and repurposing furniture, spending time with his family and friends and gardening. His favorite plants included hostas, ivy and ferns. Benny was always thinking of others and would often reach out to family and friends with gifts, cards and text messages. He had a very generous spirit. Benny is survived by his partner, Steven Osborn; sisters, Kathy (Glenn) Schultz and Barbie (Mike) Sutton; his dearest aunt, Ardetta “Aunt Tootie” Hart; many nieces and nephews; very special friends, Dan and Audrey Cosgrove, Paul Falzone, Terry VanVolkinburg, Rose and Donny Osborn and Chris Fitzgerald and close cousin, Davie (Heather) Starett. In accordance with Benny’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at a later date. Benny’s passing leaves a large void for all those close to him and he will be greatly missed.
