Age 49, passed away on Saturday June 26, 2021. Ben was born on March 29, 1972, the son of Richard and Linda May (Carr) Knowlton. Ben will be remembered as a big man with a big heart. He had a gentle nature, quick wit, and was an avid music lover. He enjoyed both listening to and making music with friends. He was a bit of a music snob which is one of the traits his loved ones appreciated. Ben had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in making others laugh. His greatest joy was time spent with his sweet daughter, the light of his life.  He also cherished time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Emma Black of Plainwell; parents, Richard Knowlton of Plainwell and Linda May Bond of Kalamazoo; sister, Jillian (Knowlton) Green of Kalamazoo; niece, Elora (Austin Charlton) Green; nephew, Gavin Fults; and grandmother, Casilda Rice; several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
