In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place and Bertha will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery at 15501 Dickman Road in Augusta, Michigan on May 14, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to attend the committal ceremony are asked to arrive to the Cortege area at the cemetery no later than 10:45 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2021. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, all are asked to wear a face mask and socially distance, if not from the same household.
