Betty will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI. Those wishing to attend should meet in the cortege assembly area at 9:45 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 87, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Betty was born in Otsego, MI, on September 20, 1935, the daughter of Alvin and Goldie (Halstead) Wood. She married Robert Allen on September 22, 1987. He preceded her in death in 2009. Betty was an avid seamstress and loved making quilts. She enjoyed working puzzles. Betty loved the Lord and attended church regularly. Betty is survived by her daughters, Rose Vickery of Hastings, MI, Linda Keeler of Hastings, MI, Kimberlee (Martin) Mayes of Charleston WV; 7 grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Tricha Olsen; several great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Lois) Wood; sister, Patricia Hyatt; several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Patrick Wright, and Chris Wills
