The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM, one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Mt. Ever-Rest Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project, c/o the funeral home.

Age 87, passed away at Rose Arbor Place on August 20, 2023, with family at her side. She was born in Summitville, TN, on February 4, 1936, the daughter of the late William and Laura (Argo) Martin. Betty was kind, loving and gentle. She had a strong faith in the Lord and could often be found relaxed in a chair with Bible in hand. She loved people and was very outgoing. She worked hard raising her three children and her heart and home were always open to those in need. She was a wonderful baker and was famous for her banana bread. Above all Betty loved her family and her friends and she leaves behind the legacy of a life well lived. She is survived by two children, Laura Copenhaver, Scott (Sue) Omelianowich; grandchildren, Dennis (Michelle) Copenhaver, Angela Wicker, Bridget Mariscal, Jessica (Eric) Marie, Ashley Omelianowich, Chad (Emily) Omelianowich; several great-grandchildren; sister, Rose (Guy) Stevens; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in passing by a daughter, Lorraine Omelianowich.
