Age 98, Passed away at her home on October 19, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Beverly was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on August 17, 1924, the daughter of the late Clifford and Henrietta (Vermeulen) Miller. She had a gentle smile, kind, quiet nature and was a joy to know. She was an active person who loved traveling to Mackinac Island, Hawaii and Atlantic City. She made friends easily, enjoyed eating out and was a regular at Bob Evans. She was a hard worker and managed apartments in Traverse City for several years after the passing of her husband. Above all Beverly loved her family and was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who love her. She is survived by a daughter, Alison Thompson; daughter-in-law, Judy Custer; grandchildren, Lisa Thompson, Greg Thompson, Steve (Stephanie) Thompson, Stephanie (Ray) Gower, Jeremy (Mallori) Custer, Christie Hoover, Ashlie (Federico) Vogel, Timothy Crampton; several great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. She was also preceded by her husband, August Lew and a son, Gary Custer.
