A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church, 3706 Mt. Olivet Rd. Parchment, MI 49004, with Pastor R.J. Morelli officiating. Interment will follow at Gilson Cemetery in Scotts, MI. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Kalamazoo Humane Society, c/o the funeral home. A benefit dinner in Brooke's memory will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Climax-Scotts High School Cafeteria from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Age 14, of Climax-Scotts passed away on August 15, 2024. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI, on November 1, 2009, the daughter of Dennis Roberts and Lisa Liska. Brooke attended Climax-Scotts Middle School where her smile, kindness and enthusiasm will be missed. She participated in sports, enjoying volleyball, basketball and softball. The youngest of 4 siblings, and perhaps quiet at times, Brooke was never afraid to keep everyone in line. Brooke always put other’s feelings first. She loved her brothers and stepsister and leaves them with special memories to cherish. She also loved spending time with her parents, doing crafts and puzzles with her mother or talking sports with her father. She had a gentle heart and loved animals, especially her pet cat “Nipsey”. Brooke’s absence will be felt at family gatherings, holidays, special moments and in the setting of the sun. She will be missed but always remembered. Brooke is survived by her father Dennis Roberts; mother, Lisa (Andy Paddock) Liska; three brothers, Austin (Allison) Liska, Eric Strong II, Ian Strong; stepsister, Sarah Paddock; grandmother, Laurie Liska; great-grandmother, Marian Norman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, classmates and friends. She was preceded in passing by her grandparents, Dennis and Pamela Roberts; great-grandfather, Loren Norman; uncle, Terry Norman; aunt, Tammy Spencer Tressler.
