November 13, 1943 - March 15, 2023

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. Noon, at Word for Life Church, 7022 E Michigan Ave, Kalamazoo. Carl will be laid to rest at Ft. Custer National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial contributions may be given to Mental Health Service for Veterans through the Wounded Warrior Project, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 79, passed away March 15, 2023. Carl was born in Price, KY, on November 13, 1943, the son of Lincoln and Pebble (Moore) Quesenberry. Carl proudly served his nation as a member of the United States Army Airborne Division and in the United States Air Force Reserve. Carl was always active in church and was currently a member of Word of Life Church of God. He had served in many capacities in other church including being an Elder. He enjoyed singing in the choir and on the praise teams. He liked taking his kids fishing. He had worked as a mechanic and could make or fix anything. Carl is survived by his children, Jenny (Eugene) Springs, Carl Dials II, Jason (Wendy) Dials, Mikaylah (Cole) Hoffman, Kaitlyn Dials; grandchildren, Alyssia (David) Hulshizer, Shelbie Dials, Kaleb Dials, Mckenzie Dials, Amyia Dials, Christopher Springs, Cody Springs, Tim Dials and Jerry Dials; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Velma Quesenberry, Sue Veeder, Clara Roberts and Claud Quesenberry; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Dials; and grandson, Raymond Wilson; sister, Helen Schmidts; brother, Carmel Mullins.
