Age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Carmen was born in New York City, on April 30, 1956. Carmen proudly served her country in the United States Army. She was an avid cat lover. She also enjoyed horror movies. In her spare time, she liked going to the casino to play the slots and to eat at the buffet. Music from the 70’s was very familiar to her and she knew all the songs. She loved kids and all the kids in the neighborhood knew it as she offered them candy and other treats their moms probably didn’t appreciate.   Carmen was greatly loved and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her children and warmly welcomed their friends into their home. Carmen is survived by her children, Manirva Montano of Myrtle Beach, SC and Dwain (Marie) Montano of Kalamazoo; grandsons, Jason and Jacob; and countless friends, including her kitties, Snowball and Katie.
