Age 85, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 15, 2019. Carol was born in Chicago, IL, on December 23, 1933, the daughter of Roy and Florence Clark. She was married to Donald D. Darling, who preceded her in death in 2010. She retired from Sears – Roebuck and Co. in 1989. After her retirement, she and Don loved to travel in their motorhome. They played golf in every state and enjoyed playing cards. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them at their sporting events. Family gathering were important to her. Carol is survived by her children, Patti Riley of Colorado Springs, CO, Donald Darling Jr. of Vicksburg Debra (John) Mayer of Three Rivers, and Laura Brady of Portage; grandchildren, Nicholas Riley, Angie Carlson, Stormy Darling, Todd Mayer, Melissa Brady, and Michael Darling; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
