No services are being planned in Michigan. Carol will be laid to rest next to Harold at Hillside Cemetery, Genoa City, WI. Memorial contributions may be given to P.E.O. International, in c/o the funeral home.

Age 90, passed away Saturday morning, October 14, 2023. Carol was born in Lake Geneva, WI on August 30, 1933, the daughter of Pearl and Hulda (Flemming) Bender. She was married to Harold David Hafs who preceded her in death in 2021. Carol is survived by her children Mark (Susan McCrary) Hafs of Seattle, WA and Leslie Hafs of Kalamazoo; granddaughter, Lindsay (Aaron) McCann; great-granddaughter, Ellie McCann; and many friends. Besides her husband, Carol was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Stephen Hafs; three sisters and three brothers.
