Age 61, passed away at Kairos Dwelling on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Carol was born in Kalamazoo on December 1, 1961, the daughter of the late Ralph Wayne Espy and Barbara Ann (Streeter) Overhiser. Carol was an avid movie watcher and a talented artist. She loved to draw and maintained an extensive marker collection that consisted of every color imaginable. Carol is survived by six children, Jennifer Borkowski, Tiffany McCoy, Alexandra Borkowski, Wayne Espy, Jessica Moats and Samantha McCoy; her brother, Michael (Mary) Espy; grandchildren, Kaitlyn McCoy, Azariah Smith, Jr. and Donnique Mcferrin and her nephew, Michael Espy, Jr. Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her son, Allen Espy-McCoy and sister, Kathy Espy. Cremation will take place and no services are scheduled. Private interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Plainwell. Memorial contributions in Carol’s memory may be made to Kairos Dwelling.
