I met Carol many years ago in Church. She was one of the kindest people I've ever met. Her sweet spirit was enjoyed by many. She often sat next to my mother-in-law at Church and one could often see them holding each other's hands. They were classmates in elementary school and grew up in the same neighborhood, reconnecting again in their senior years. Carol enjoyed life, often in simple ways, but loved visits, talking and playing rummikub. She had a keen sense of humor, never complained, cared about others and often visited other seniors, especially the home bound. She will be deeply missed by many.

Our deepest sympathy for your loss. Carol was a great lady to be with. My mom Peggy Minarik was first a coworker of hers at Gilmore's and they became very good friends. Carol would stop at Peggy"s home 2 to 3 times a week and they would go places together or sit and read the news paper and chat. When I had to take my mom to live with me, I'd take her to visit Carol. I remember almost every time I'd come to pick up my mom, Carol wouldn't let me leave until I played a game of rummikub, that they had been playing most the time they were together, It was so much fun. Carol was a great game player and I'd have a hard time keeping up. I will miss her and she will stay in my heart always.

"Grandma Carol", as she was affectionately known to her dear friend Rita, played Canasta with me once. She was a whiz. I was used to playing with Rita who let me win every time. Grandma Carol stuck to the rules! We shared laughs on the phone with Rita as mediator. My sympathy to the family. Blessings, Jane

Our entire family would like to send our deepest condolences to Roger, Gail, Molly and Jacob in the passing of your mother and grandmother. Our mothers were close friends for many years and shared a lot of special times together. Now they are together again...for all eternity. She had such a sweet and caring heart...we will miss her greatly. Ben will miss making coffee for her at our cottage and having those teasing moments together. ...that they both enjoyed. We are comforted in knowing she is no longer in pain and is wrapped in the arms of her Heavenly Father. We believe that her very best and happiest times here don’t compare to what she is now experiencing in heaven! We continue to lift all of you in prayer. With our love, Ben and Lynette, John and Jean, Earl and Kathy and families
