Age 83 of Kalamazoo, passed away Friday afternoon, February 6, 2026. Carolyn was born in Kalamazoo on September 7, 1943, the daughter of Alvin and Marian (Geschwendt) Dunlap. She was married to Richard Havey who preceded her in death in 2013. Carolyn worked in healthcare for many years as a nurse at Borgess Hospital, She also worked as a case manager in home health care. She was a long-time member of Milwood United Methodist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed taking care of her many friends, spending time with family at their cabin, and being surrounded by people she loved. Carolyn is survived by her son, Andrew (Jayme Richards) Havey of Portage; brother, Ronald Dunlap; sister, Shirley (Steve) Seplak; nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and her beloved grand dog, Cooper.
