Age 77, passed away early on Monday morning, May 9, 2022. Carolyn was born in Battle Creek, on August 1, 1944, the daughter of Homer Jack and Opal Elouise (Parris) Jones. Carolyn was very fond of her dog, JoJo. She enjoyed visiting the casinos. She was an avid reader, especially Stephen King novels. Nothing was more important to her than her family who loved her very much and will miss her sorely. Carolyn is survived by her spouse, Joseph Julien of Portage; her children, Connie (Mike) LoBretto of Paw Paw, Jack Johnson of Bloomingdale, Tammy Calderon of Paw Paw; step-children, Rex (Amanda) Julien of Battle Creek, Joseph Julien Jr. of Battle Creek, Rachel (Tim) Gardner of Kalamazoo; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Mildred “Janet” Clark, Billy “Pete” Jones; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by parents; a daughter, Kim Johnson; sister, Patricia Baker. Carolyn will be laid to rest at a graveside service to be held at Vicksburg Cemetery on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00PM.
