Age 75, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023. Charla was born in Kalamazoo, on August 3, 1947, the daughter of Robert C. Allen and Lorena (Grinnell) Allen Dunfield. Charla was an avid seamstress. She enjoyed reading and watching old movies. She worked for several years in the pharmaceutical profession, first for the Upjohn Company, and later for Pfizer. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She loved her grandbabies so much, and they will miss her very much. Charla is survived by her children, Dana Kingsbury of Portage and Cory Kingsbury of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Cory Jr., Courtney, Caitlyn, Trevor, Travis, Cameron, Morgan, Michael, Collin; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Skyler, Sebastian, Sage; brother, Shane (Sandy) Allen; nieces and nephews, Chad Allen, Tonya Topp and Todd Allen; and many, many friends. Charla was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Doran.
