November 14, 1934 - July 11, 2023

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1747 W. Milham Ave. Portage, MI. Friends may greet the family at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. Chuck will be laid to rest with Jan at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Kalamazoo, Ministry with Community, or Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, in c/o the funeral home.

I was sorry to hear about Chuck’s passing, and want to express my sympathy to his family. I had the opportunity to know Chuck as a fellow Upjohn employee, and as members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Chuck and I were on a church building committee together, and his engineering background and many experiences were invaluable on this committee. It was always enjoyable visiting with him following church services to share what we were doing. I will miss these conversations.

Chuck is one of the nicest guys I know. We spent many hours on shift while patrolling together at Timber Ridge and have taken many, many runs together on our trips west. Everyone loved Chuck, he will truly be missed.
