The family is planning a private memorial service. Charlotte will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Jehovah’s Witnesses, c/o the funeral home.

Age 97, passed away Friday night, October 7, 2022. Charlotte was born in Kalamazoo on August 30, 1925, the daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Schuur) Linneman. On June 1, 1946, she married Robert Remeur who preceded her in death in 2002. Charlotte lived a full life and lived independently until she was 90 years old. She graduated from Western Michigan University in 1945. Her life was dedicated to Jehovah when she was baptized with her husband in 1956. She loved reading and teaching the Bible. She also loved puzzles, plants and learning. She will be missed by her family and her friends in the West congregation of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Charlotte is survived by her daughters Karol (Kopas) Ogletree of Union Point, GA and Susan Pyke of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Jennifer (Damion) Mitchell, Brian Trayer, Robert (Jordan) Pyke, Christopher (Treasure) Pyke, Laura (Joseph) Moody, Robert Hostetler; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Chase, Makayla and Mandy; several nieces and nephews and many friends. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Hostetler; a granddaughter, Wendy Mann; a brother and three sisters.
