The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 5900 McClellan, Detroit, on Saturday September 4, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive callers beginning at 10:30 at the church. Cheryl will be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Detroit.  Memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Detroit, c/o the funeral home.

 Age 70, passed away early Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021. Cheryl was born on September 11, 1950, in Detroit, the daughter of John Perry and Peggy Crawford. Cheryl was an avid baker. She was well-known for the delicacies that came from her kitchen for family and church events. She enjoyed getting together with her family and the card games that ensued. She was a member at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, where she was baptized, raised, confirmed and had remained an active member her entire life. Nothing was more important to her than her grandbabies. She was loved by many and all who knew her will miss her. Cheryl is survived by her daughter Charisse (Kyle) Hurt of Mattawan; grandchildren, Kassidy and Kyle II; brother John “Wesley” Crawford of Detroit; sister, Kimberly Milligan of Detroit; her former husband, Robert “Bobby” Dandridge of Detroit; brothers-in-law, Thurman Bailey of Detroit; sister-in-law, Ella Dandridge of Detroit; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and countless friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Mark Crawford; a sister, Denise Bailey.
