Christopher Charles Finley, age 59, passed away at Bronson Hospital Kalamazoo, on May 11, 2026. He was born in Chicago, IL on September 27, 1966, the son of the late Linda Finley. Chris was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He loved to meet new people and could strike up a conversation with anyone. His smile and laughter made him a joy to know. He worked hard when he was able but also took moments to enjoy life. He would spend many hours on the phone speaking with his brothers. He was an excellent cook who enjoyed sharing food at gatherings and cookouts. He would take his wife Victoria to concerts and outings and did his best to attend the important events of family and friends. Above all Christopher loved his family and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. On January 27, 1990, he married his devoted wife, Victoria (Branson) Finley, who survives. He is also survived by four children, Christopher Cummings, Shaketta Finley, Latrice Howard, Demarcus Finley; fourteen grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Finley; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by a son, Demitrius Finley and brother, Timmothy Finley.
