Clarence Ralph Boussom, Jr. affectionately called Poo, from Kalamazoo, MI died on January 11, 2022, at the age of 59, after a long struggle with COPD and heart related problems. Clarence made killer eggrolls from scratch. He loved music, especially Supertramp and Alan Parsons Project. Clarence suffered a major heat attack when he was 40 and was forced to leave his career in Heating and Cooling. He eventually found meaning and purpose through his creative side. He took wonderful photographs and wrote amazing poetry. He was a natural caregiver, looking after his mother and friend in the last years of their life. He loved his family whole heartedly and referred to his grandkids as “smile-makers.” Clarence leaves behind two ex-wives, Amy McFadden and Lisa Muntwyler who he remained friends with long after their marriages ended; a brother, Barry; three sisters, Cindi, Laurie and Sally; three lovely daughters, Amanda Dmoch, Stephanie Lando, Carly Boussom; a son, Clancy Boussom; Andrew, who was like a son to Clarence; nine “smile makers,” Stella, Davi Micah, Vivi, Megan, Jenna, Gerard, Lexi and Tyler. The world will feel a bit less kind without Clarence in it.
