Age 49, passed away in Wyoming on October 19, 2021. He was born in Benton Harbor, MI on March 11, 1972, the son of Pat Winfield and Claude P. McClurg. Claude had a fantastic personality filled with humor, ethics, and respect. He loved being around people and made friends with ease. He was a hard worker who provided for his family. When not working he enjoyed taking motorcycle rides with his son and being on the open road. He also loved spending time on Crooked Lake in Delton, fishing off his grandfather’s boat. Claude was a loving father, devoted son, and loyal brother. He leaves behind many wonderful memories to be cherished and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by two loving children, Jessica Sydlik and Ethan McClurg; four grandchildren, Noelle, Kyle, Kaitlynn Sydlik and Isabella Potts; mother and step-father, Pat (Jerry) Winfield; father and step-mother, Claude P. (Cheryl) McClurg; siblings, Jason (Sarah) McClurg, Marilyn (Collin Nicome) Stratton, Darlene (Larry) Crosby, Holly (Lavelle) Gilbert; many other family and friends. He was preceded in passing by his grandparents.
